Celebrate Wallingford
October 4th and 5th
Our town's annual celebration – \"Celebrate Wallingford\" takes place on Center St. and Main St. and is staged right in front of our church building
We take this opportunity to meet some folks on our front lawn, introduce them to our church and share a bit about what God has been doing in and through our congregation.
It's a great opportunity for us to highlight our ministries and missions and to invite them to come along side us in serving our community.

Pastoral Honor & Holy Communion Service
October 5 at 3PM
Special Recognition & Holy Communion Service
We are pleased to announce that during this Sunday’s Holy Communion Service, our Senior Pastor, Rev. John Williams, will be formally honored with the title “Very Rev.” This honor will be conferred by the Moderator of the Church of South India (CSI) — a united Protestant church that serves the Indian diaspora in North America.
This sacred service not only invites us to the Lord’s Table but also gives us the joy of celebrating Pastor Williams’ faithful service, leadership, and commitment to the ministry of Christ and His Church. We warmly invite not only our congregation but also the entire believing Christian community in Connecticut to join in prayer, thanksgiving, and worship as we partake together in this historic occasion.
Entity/Location: Christ Church Of CT, (Church Of South India) 36A Padanaram Rd, Danbury, CT

Global Day Of Prayer For The Peace Of Jerusalem
October 5 at 5PM
Every year, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) is celebrated on the first Sunday of October in churches and prayer ministries around the world. We hope that you will join this global chorus of prayer, as millions of believers from 175 nations around the world pray together for the peace of Jerusalem!
The Bible clearly calls all believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6, Isaiah 62:6). All Christians have a biblical mandate and responsibility to pray for the city over which Jesus wept, the city to which He will soon return. The current crisis over Jerusalem has global ramifications and impact, and will only be fully resolved by God working through the prayers of His people.
Please plan to join in unified prayer for the peace of Jerusalem on October 5, 2025 at South Congregational Church, 277 Main Street, Hartford CT.
