Family Institute of Connecticut 17th Annual Banquet
Friday, September 19th from 6-10pm
Keynote Speaker: The Most Reverend Frank T. Caggiano
Location of Event: Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry Street in Plantsville, CT 06479.
For 2025, we are going \"big picture.\" This year marks the quarter-point of the 21st century. Many of us crossed \"the threshold of hope\" in 2000 bullish about a \"New Evangelization\" or a \"New Springtime\" or another \"Great Awakening\" for our country–and the State of Connecticut- -in the new century.
25 years later, Roe v. Wade is overturned. Bible sales are up. Young men, in particular, are returning to church. Many speak positively of a \"vibe shift.\"
But we know that is not the whole story–especially in Connecticut. FIC began the new century fighting for traditional marriage. Today, we are fighting to keep schools from secretly transing kids without their parents' knowledge and against a government that will take away your child if you are not \"affirming.\"
So where does the pro-life and pro-family movement stand after the first 25 years of the new century? What should be our focus over these next 25 years? And where stands our hope of evangelizing the State of Connecticut for the next quarter-century?
There is no better person to address these questions than Bishop Frank Caggiano. You know him from his stirring CT March for Life prayers and other public events. We know him from his behind-the-scenes wisdom on many of the cultural battles FIC has been engaged in these past several years. He's the guy.
